2019 Derby Girl Productions Calendar Project

I’m a member of a roller derby team near my home in St. Petersburg, FL. A few of a girls put together a calendar in 2017 (for 2018). Unfortunately the project was thrown together quickly and a bit unorganized. We aimed to make another this year, again this year, only with more organization. To help prevent issues seen the year before, I helped to create a Code of Conduct so all participants know what is and isn’t acceptable behavior during the production process. Additionally, we made a Skater Packet to help the skaters understand what was expected of them if they wanted to help secure sponsors. We then had to make a pack of information to give to potential sponsors with all pertinent information. Thus, the Sponsorship Information packet was developed.

I wrote the copy and edited all of these documents with input from my team mates.

This project is ongoing, so I will update document versions and information as it becomes available.
